Reading the board

A liquidation is an exchange closing a leveraged position because the margin behind it ran out. Long liquidations happen when price falls into the stops of traders betting on a rise; short liquidations when it rises into those betting on a fall. A one-sided board, most of the dollars on one side, often marks the end of a sharp move rather than the start of one.

Long share is the part of the total that was longs. Totals are in US dollars at the price of each print. The members' copy refreshes every 15 minutes; this one shows the same board 15 minutes later.
